AXIS Bank board approves fund raising of up to Rs. 35,000 crore

Aat the 206th meeting of the Board of Directors of AXIS Bank (the “Board”) held on April 28, 2020, the Board has authorised the Bank to borrow / raise funds in Indian Currency / Foreign Currency by issue of debt Instruments including but not limited long term bonds, nonconvertible debentures, perpetual debt instruments and Tier II Capital Bonds or such other debt securities as may be permitted under RBI guidelines, from time to time, up to an amount of Rs. 35,000 crore (Rupees Thirty Five Thousand crore only), subject to the approval of the Shareholders of the Bank at the 26th Annual General Meeting of the Bank.
